    energy ecosystem

Established in 1980, the Korea Energy Agency (KEA) is a public institution with the mission of promoting the rational use of energy and he deployment of renewable energy. Since its foundation, KEA has focused on expanding the deployment of renewable energy, enhancing energy efficiency, and supporting energy welfare for those in need. Through these efforts, we have helped build a sustainable energy ecosystem for the well-being of our nation.

Given the recent global commitment to carbon neutrality and energy supply challenges, the expansion of renewable energy has become a key pillar alongside energy conservation and efficiency. In particular, as global initiatives like RE100 continue to expand, tthe transition to renewable energy has become an important factor in enhancing corporate competitiveness.

In response to the era of carbon neutrality, KEA is fulfilling its mandate by expanding renewable energy deployment, improving energy efficiency, and supporting international greenhouse gas mitigation initiatives. Moreover, we are devoted to strengthening the competitiveness of the energy industry and contributing to economic growth through partnerships between the public and private sectors.

We are also strengthening support for vulnerable groups, including low-income households and SMEs, to respond to energy challenges.

Moving forward, we will continue to pursue innovation to achieve greater efficiency and productivity, all while earning the trust and support of the public, as we strive to remain a trusted public institution.

On behalf of all KEA employees, I look forward to your ongoing support and interest.

Thank you.
